Care Leaving Accommodation

Kaleidoscope  Exists to

 
 
·         To provide safe and secure accommodation for young adults aged 16 – 25 years of age.
 
·         For each young adult residing at Kaleidoscope to engage within education and services provided.
 
·         To work in partnerships with other agencies, including health professionals, CAMH’s to ensure that relevant support packages are robust for the young adult.
 
·         To enable young adults to grow and develop with regards to independent living skills, training, relationships and community activities.
 
·         For Kaleidoscope to meet the cultural and religious needs of all young adults.
 
·         To provide a tailored support package to guide young adult through to independent living within the community.
 
·         To help support the young person with good communication skills
 
·         To help, support and prepare young people through their pregnancy’s (Where applicable)
The main purpose of Kaleidoscope is to provide accommodation to support to independence; young adults can reside within the project from the ages of 16 – 25 years of age. Placements at the properties can be from a minimum of 12 weeks up to 5 years or longer this will be determined by the young adults and their progress within the housing project
